“Don’t wait. The time will never be just right”. ~Napoleon Hill
Finally! The holidays are over. It’s a new year and I can focus on starting to take better care of myself and get going on all of those things in my business that I know I have been neglecting the past few months. But Valentine’s Day is only like a month away. I’m making it a point right now that I will definitely get it together right after that. I mean who can resist eating a whole box of chocolate hearts? Gosh, St. Patrick’s Day is so close. I’m half Irish, I can’t pass up the Irish soda bread and a beer or two. OK, now here we go! Oh yeah, Easter. Chocolate bunnies, peeps … before you know it, May comes, Memorial Day and the BBQ season begins. Hand me one (ok two) of those hot dogs please! Half the year is gone and I haven’t gotten myself on track. I was going to join that networking group and commit to going to at least one meeting a month, but the time was not that convenient. I was going to start that marketing campaign, but I got sidetracked with rearranging my sock drawer. Oh and that prospect I was going to follow up with. The contact information is buried under 500 emails, back 2 months ago, don’t even know if they will remember who I am! Does this happen to you? You either put off what you need to do or you make excuses why you can’t do it. With all good intentions you make your resolutions at the beginning of the year only to lose steam a month into it. With your business do you put off doing things until the right or convenient time to get started? What are you waiting for? There will never be a right or more perfect time. What do you need to do now to jump start your year? If you are having trouble figuring that out, give us a call and let us figure out how we can help you!
